In the fall of 1918, a small group of people believed that it would be beneficial to the community of Pandora to look to the future and that a new bank be formed. Thirty people consented to be stockholders and seven were chosen to serve as members of the Board of Directors.

On April 23, 1919 a charter was secured from the Department of Treasury at Washington D.C. The formal opening of The First National Bank of Pandora was held on June 19, 1919.

Since this date the bank has gone through many stages of development. These developments have included several expansions and remodeling to the main office in Pandora, and the opening of branches in Bluffton and Findlay.

The large customer base to the bank in the Bluffton area and commitment to customer service made it very clear that the need was there for the Bluffton branch that opened in 1990. Always looking to the future, the bank opened its newest branch in Findlay, just two blocks west of the Findlay Village Mall, in 2001. This provided larger exposure for the growing bank.

The bank has a special emphasis on serving small businesses and working with farmers. Popular features available at all three locations include their Moola Moola Club for children through age 13 and their Prestige 50 Club for customers 50 and older.

The bank's success is all due to the faith and commitment of its customers, employees, board of directors, and officers. The bank has always focused on the main goal of serving the customer. This commitment will allow the bank many more successful years as an independently owned bank.
