Chief Financial Officer

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Oversees all auditing, record keeping, budgeting, tax and accounting activities of the financial institution.
  • Makes recommendations relating to budget preparation, profit forecasts, and operational changes as needed.
  • Responsible for financial institution’s funds management activities and investment portfolio.
  • Provides a significant contribution to the formulation, development, implementation, and administration of bank wide policies and business goals.
  • Directs the activities of accounting and regulatory reporting functions by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, five years of accounting experience, CPA preferred but not necessary.

  • Fannie Mae Originating & Underwriting: Discover solutions to help meet mortgage needs
  • Manage pipeline to ensure loans are approved and then cleared-to-close within the expected timeframes

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two-year business degree or related field with two to four year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
